Personal information
Privacy Notice.
This notice explains how RoseGrid Engineering handles personal information when you make an enquiry or discuss engineering services.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Who operates this website
RoseGrid Engineering operates this website and service. For questions about this notice or how your personal information is handled, email hello@rosegrid.co.uk.
Information collected
When you use the enquiry form, RoseGrid receives the name, email address, company or organisation if supplied, enquiry category and message that you enter. If you continue a conversation by email, RoseGrid will also receive the information you choose to include in that correspondence.
The website does not ask for confidential design files in the initial form. Please wait until a suitable way to exchange project files has been agreed.
How and why the information is used
The information is used to respond to enquiries, understand and discuss requested services, prepare or discuss potential work, and maintain necessary business correspondence.
The lawful basis depends on the context. Processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract. RoseGrid may also rely on legitimate interests where it is necessary and proportionate to respond to business enquiries, manage correspondence and operate the service, taking account of your rights and interests. Information may also be kept or used where necessary to comply with a legal obligation. RoseGrid does not treat submission of the enquiry form as consent for unrelated uses.
Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list, and RoseGrid will not send marketing emails merely because you used the form.
FormSubmit and other recipients
The enquiry form uses FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service. When you submit the form, the details you enter pass through FormSubmit so that the enquiry can be transmitted to RoseGrid by email. You can read FormSubmit's privacy information. If you prefer not to use that service, you can email hello@rosegrid.co.uk directly.
Service providers involved in transmitting or hosting business email and website enquiries may process information as needed to provide those services. Some third-party processing may take place outside the UK. Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, RoseGrid will take reasonable steps to use an appropriate safeguard.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information and related correspondence are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, discuss or provide requested services, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry and whether it develops into a business relationship. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, transfer of information, or to object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are not absolute and exceptions may apply.
To make a request, email hello@rosegrid.co.uk. RoseGrid may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints
Please contact RoseGrid first if you have a concern so it can be considered. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Information about your rights and how to complain is available at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and website measurement
This website currently does not intentionally use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking scripts. Like most web servers, the hosting and proxy systems may create technical logs containing information such as an IP address, requested page, browser details and time of access for security, troubleshooting and reliable operation.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, service providers or data-handling practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
